Sera is a 5 year old black mare. She is by a paint stallion who is ¼ Thoroughbred and her Dam is a pure Percheron mare.

Sera was started slowly under saddle with a lot trail riding on hills for training her mind and balancing her body. Sera turned out to be more talented than expected. She has great swinging gaits in both the trot and the canter. She also is very light and balanced to ride despite being of substantial build. After a light show season in which she scored 74% in her first dressage test, carried a youth rider through a few lower level horse trials and one hunter pace; she was bred and turned out to grow up. She conceived easily, and has been an exemplary mother. Once Malaika, her filly, is weaned Sera will be back in full training for the 2008 show season.
